Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Ad in a Box (operated by IndieRise) collects, why, and what you can do about it. Questions or requests: shashwat@theindierise.com.
1. What we collect
Order information — your name, email address, billing details, order number and the products you bought. Payment card details are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.
Brand Brief information — everything you submit to have your creatives made: your brand and product details, your offer, your audience, your tone, your website, and the assets you upload or link to (logo, product images, brand guidelines).
Technical information — standard web and store analytics such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
2. Why we use it
- To take payment and fulfil your order.
- To produce and deliver your creatives.
- To email you about your order — confirmation, the Growth Kit, brief reminders, production updates and delivery.
- To provide support and handle refunds.
- To keep records we are required to keep for tax and accounting.
- To measure and improve the store, and for advertising measurement.
3. Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary with service providers who help us run the store:
- Shopify — store hosting, checkout and order management.
- Razorpay — payment processing.
- Google (Drive / Workspace) — receiving your assets and delivering finished files.
- Email delivery — Shopify’s transactional email for order and delivery notifications.
- Analytics and advertising platforms — where enabled, for measurement and advertising. See section 5.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share your Brand Brief content or your assets with anyone outside the production of your order.
4. Your assets and your brand
Assets you send us are used to produce your creatives and for nothing else. We may show finished work in our own portfolio; tell us in writing and we will not.
5. Cookies and tracking
This store uses cookies for essential functions — keeping your cart and completing checkout — and, where enabled, for analytics and advertising measurement. Advertising and analytics pixels are connected through Shopify’s official sales channels rather than hand-installed scripts, and are only active when a channel has been connected in the store admin. You can manage or block cookies in your browser; essential cookies are required for checkout to work.
6. How long we keep it
- Order records — retained for as long as required by Indian tax and accounting law.
- Brand Brief content and uploaded assets — retained for 12 months after delivery, then deleted, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Delivered creative files — retained for 12 months after delivery so we can re-issue a download link if you need one.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your personal data, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Email shashwat@theindierise.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with how we handle a request, you may raise it with the relevant data protection authority.
8. Children
This store is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
